Advocate on Record, Supreme Court of India

Qurratulain practices in wide array of matters belonging to both civil and criminal side and holds a Master in laws in Criminal Laws and Human Rights. She is an alumnus of CNLU Patna. She has worked on several areas of law including but not limited to service laws, labour laws, women laws, environmental laws, insurance, consumer affairs, medical negligence, arbitration and mediation, banking, commercial laws, Personal laws, Matrimonial matters and Constitutional cases in different fora in and around Delhi. She has been serving as an external member of the POSH Committee under the POSH Act, 2013 to a private corporate house for the last two and a half years. As an external member in the ICC, have been discharging the statutory duty of conducting proceedings under the ICC and adjudicating complaints, if any. She has been an Advocate in notable matters that include: Jindal Stainless Ltd v. State of Haryana, (2017) 12 SCC 1 (issue of octroi); M Siddiq v Mahant Suresh Das, (2020) 1 SCC 1 (Ayodhya dispute); Aayom Welfare Society v. Union of India, 2020 SCC Online SC 428 (Ration availability without ration card to migrants); and Shayara Bano v Union of India, (2017) 9 SCC 1 (Triple Talaq matter).

Nidhi is currently associated with Lex Indis, Law Office as a Principal Associate and contributes invaluably towards the Arbitration matters and the Supreme Court practice of the firm. With almost 9 years of experience in litigation, she has achieved the feat of passing the Advocate-on-Record, Supreme Court of India examination in the year 2020. She has over the years, mastered the court-craft and is well-versed with the procedures and practice of various forums. Her expertise has led her to be empaneled with the Union Government for representing them the Supreme Court of India and also empaneled with Gujarat Pollution Control Board to represent them before the National Green Tribunal and the Supreme Court of India. She is confident and kind, and has unmatchable inter-personal which has been esteemed highly by the Clients had she has thus successfully been involved in handling matrimonial matters and mediating between them. Having a vast experience in dealing with matrimonial matters, she has a deep understanding about the working of such matters inside and outside the court as well. 

Upasana Singh is the Founder and CEO of Accords International and holds the position of assistant professor at the Law School at Delhi Metropolitan Education, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi. Currently, she holds the position of Reviewer with ILI Law Review and Executive Editor of DME Journal of Law. She is also a Fellow with Global Policy Insights, a centralist policy institute based in India, USA, and UK.

Akanksha Marwah is an academician first and then an entrepreneur. She has been teaching criminal procedure and ADR since 2019 and is currently researching in areas pertaining to Restorative Justice, Cyberbullying, Sexual Harassment at Workplace, and Juvenile Justice.
